Mary Morrison was found dead inside her apartment at the Sentinel Pointe Retirement Community on July 19, 2011. She had been strangled with an electrical cord. Mary, who was 89 years old, lived at the retirement community for 12 years prior to her death. The Kent County Sheriff’s Office has conducted hundreds of interviews and collected numerous pieces of evidence and continue to work diligently to solve the case and bring closure to the family.  The Sheriff’s Office asks anyone with information about Mary’s homicide to contact Silent Observer at 616-774-2345 or at silentobserver.org.
