Who killed Cynthia McCoy?  On 11/27/2020 at 12:30 pm, Cynthia was walking home on Burton St SW and at the intersection of Alba Ave SW, she was shot. An unknown black male, approximately 6’0’’ wearing dark clothing and a dark colored COVID 19 cloth mask, approached Cynthia on foot, where she was then shot.  The suspect was seen fleeing on foot to the north (Alba Ave) and it is believed he entered a gray/silver colored sedan style vehicle, which then fled the area to the north.  Cynthia died as a result of the gunshot wounds. Wyoming Police are looking for continued involvement from the public with any information that may assist in their continued investigation of this tragic murder.  Anyone with information about Cynthia’s homicide is urged to contact anonymously at Silent Observer at 616.774.2345 or silentobserver.org.
