Bonnie Oom was last seen at Riverside park at 5:30am on September 4, 1986. She was an avid walker and was taking her morning walk at the time she disappeared. Her body was found 3 days later near Pickeral Lake Park in the Rockford area. She had been brutally beaten to death.
