Amillier Penn was just 15 years old, playing football with his friends, when he was tragically shot on June 2nd, 2024. Officers responded to a shooting call around 8:10 p.m. on Umatilla Street near Madison Avenue, according to the Grand Rapids Police Department. They arrived to find the boy who was pronounced dead at the scene.
