Silent Observer is a non-profit organization with the mission of solving and preventing serious crime in Kent and Ionia County, made possible through partnerships with citizens, the media, and local law enforcement agencies. Our continuous crime-fighting efforts are made possible entirely through charitable donations from businesses and individuals like you.

We are inviting you to become a key sponsor of “Supporting the Shield,” an initiative that serves as both a show of appreciation and a vital resource for our law enforcement partners. This fall, we will be showing our collective appreciation for their tireless efforts by providing a meal to police departments across Kent and Ionia County. Your contribution, no matter the size, will directly contribute to a safer West Michigan while showing your support for those who protect and serve. Dates for serving meals will soon be finalized with the participating law enforcement agencies. 

Silent Observer is our community’s voice for safety. We exist to empower the citizens of Kent and Ionia County to stand up and speak out against crime. From tips about missing persons cases to open homicide investigations and everything in between, our anonymous tip line and reward program offers the public a safe and confidential way to report critical crime-solving information.
