Fundraising Information - Silent Observer

Help stop crime by helping Silent Observer

Last year over 2000 residents tipped off Silent Observer helping to solve 120 serious crimes.   The Silent Observer Fast 50 Program, active in 65 middle and high schools, allowed tipsters to identify students in violation of school conduct codes by possession drugs, alcohol or weapons at school.  These programs help keep our neighborhoods, businesses and schools more safe and secure making the Grand Rapids area a better place to live, play and do business.

Silent Observer is a Non-Profit 501(c)3 organization and your donations are tax-deductible!  Your financial support is very important to the continuation of Silent Observer as we must raise all the money needed to operate.  Thank you for your support!

What Is Silent Observer?
Silent Observer is a program where all callers remain anonymous, therefore providing to our residents a safe way to report information about crime. Silent Observer pays a reward for information leading to a suspect’s arrest. Thousands of criminals have been removed from our streets due to Silent Observer tipsters.

Many people with information that could help solve major crimes fail to come forward, either because of fear of reprisals or getting involved in a criminal justice system that can be hard to understand. Silent Observer offers the opportunity to make a difference in our community while keeping identities secret...guaranteed.

Why Support Silent Observer?
When you support the programs of Silent Observer you help continue the tradition of empowering community members to fight crime in their neighborhood. Crimes like homicide, assault, armed robbery, drug offenses, criminal sexual conduct, burglary, destruction of property, arson and more have been solved when someone decided to pick up the phone and call with their important information about crime.  Your donation helps continue the important work with neighborhoods, businesses and schools - a benefit to us all!

Silent Observer relies on the generosity of the community for all its expenses. Help Silent Observer continue its tradition of empowering community members to fight crime in their neighborhood.
